Dr. Melissa Glasgow, PhD, LMFT

"Dr Mel" is a Caribbean-American woman based in Florida who embraces people from all walks of life and believes that the client is the expert of their experience. Her purpose is to be the support that people lack in this world. When the world stands to judge, criticize, manipulate, and tear down, my purpose is to uplift, motivate, understand, and encourage.

The "Power of Peace"

Take a seat, and let's talk about it. 

Power of Peace was birthed from the Biblical scripture that encourages us to seek peace and pursue it (Psalms 34:14). Its meaning tells us to pursue the things in our lives that bring us peace. Within those places and moments of peace, we regain mental, emotional & spiritual strength. When pursuing peace, we learn coping strategies and build resilience to overcome life's obstacles.  

 

Dr. Mel treats mental and emotional complexities from a client-centered and solution-focused perspective. As a client, you will develop coping strategies based on and guided by your experiences of peace during challenging periods of life. You will be empowered to identify your physical, emotional, and spiritual strengths as resources, using them to create and maintain peace and balance in your life.
